Reffered to as the city of "hundred churches", Gaeta is a seaside town located south of Rome. Our love for short roadtrips has brought us to this beautiful town with lots of charm. Gaeta is roughly two and a half hour drive from Rome's center city. Our day began at Palm Beach Club. At the beach club we rented our chairs and umbrellas; for a nominal price, you get access to their on-site restaurant and a shaded lounge chair. A huge plus for us since we did not bring chairs. The beach is stunning and the sand is ideal for a beach day. Here are a few photos of our trip to Gaeta Beach.
We stopped in to have a quick apertivo before dinner.
Our evening ended with dinner at La Tana Di Cagliostro. A simple yet, delish pasta meal was ordered by each of us. To be completely honest I do not remember the name of the dish we ordered. However, I do recall enjoying it.
Grotta del Turco Named for its wide split in the rock that plunges into the sea. A staircase leads down to the Grotto. Once down in the grotto you will see a beautiful view of the ocean split between a large rock.

Ciao from Gaeta💕🥂
